Hi,

FileHamster is a great tool. I have two ideas to make it a little bit better.

1. The autostart of windows need much time because there are many tools. Is it possible to delay the start of FileHamster for x minutes?

2. I have my backup online and I miss an option to encrypt the files. I have searched in this forum but I did not find something. Is there any script for this? If not ...

Thanks a lot

We already added a delay option to the UpdateRevisionsOnStartup feature so adding the an additional delay shouldn't be too difficult...However, that might be some time before it can get on our roadmap.

In the meantime, here is something you can do from your end to delay FileHamster at startup.
Instead of launching FileHamster.exe in the startup folder change it to launch a batch script instead which would include the SLEEP.EXE before launching FileHamster.EXE; simply set SLEEP.EXE to run however long you want before executing the FileHamster.exe.

Please post your findings back here if you get the result you want...I'm sure others would find your efforts useful.

Good Luck...
